The 2026 Yamaha Ténéré 700 World Raid is a rally-inspired adventure bike engineered for true long-distance explorers. At its core is Yamaha’s 689cc CP2 parallel-twin engine, redeveloped to meet Euro 5+ standards — now delivering even more usable low-end torque thanks to a revised air intake, while retaining its signature dual-cylinder punch.

Fuel capacity is no longer a limitation. The World Raid’s side-mounted dual aluminium tanks hold a combined 23 litres, yet the updated design is 1.5 kg lighter than before. This gives you roughly 500 km of real-world range and improved handling, thanks to better weight distribution and reduced fuel slosh.

Long-distance comfort and control are upgraded across the board. A one-piece rally-style seat flows into the reprofiled tank, making it easier to shift weight when standing or seated. The suspension has been massively improved — 46mm Kashima-coated KYB USD forks up front, linked KYB Monocross rear shock with an extra 5 mm of stroke, and a 16-step adjustable steering damper — all tuned for mixed terrain and endurance riding.

Advanced electronics give you confidence no matter where you ride. The new 6-axis IMU powers lean-sensitive traction control, slide control, and cornering ABS — all configurable for Street or Off-road, or even turned off. Ride-by-wire throttle adds two distinct modes: Sport for tarmac, Explorer for off-road.

The cockpit is adventure-ready: a 6.3-inch vertical TFT screen sits front and centre with three riding themes — Street, Explorer, and Raid. You get cruise control, a speed limiter, and USB-C charging for your devices. The redesigned windscreen and side deflectors improve weather protection, and the new joystick-style controls let you manage ride modes, trip meters or navigation without distraction.

Rally-focused design meets rugged practicality. The updated LED headlight retains the iconic four-beam layout, but with clean, rectangular 54×24 mm units mounted in an aluminium frame — and you can easily dial the height of the beam with a single screw. Big removable footpegs with rubber inserts give comfort or grip depending on terrain, and the sub-frame is reinforced to handle luggage or a top box.
