At its core lies the 998 cc CP4 cross-plane crankshaft inline-four engine, derived from Yamaha’s superbike lineage. This powerhouse delivers torque-rich performance you feel the moment you twist the throttle, thanks to its cross-plane firing order and tuned intake and exhaust systems.

What sets the MT-10 SP apart is the leap in chassis and suspension technology. Its aluminium “Deltabox” frame borrows from the YZF-R1’s engineering DNA, offering razor-sharp agility and stability. Suspension is handled by the world-first electronic spool-valve Öhlins semi-active system: three automatic modes plus three manual modes let the bike adapt instantly to braking, acceleration or cornering forces.

Electronics are equally cutting-edge. A six-axis IMU monitors roll, pitch, yaw, and acceleration, supporting lean-sensitive traction control, slide control (SCS), lift control (LIF) and brake control (BC). The bike features ride-by-wire throttle, four power modes, quick-shifter (up and down), cruise control, and a Variable Speed Limiter.

On the road it commands attention. Dual 320 mm front discs with radial-mounted 4-piston calipers (and braided steel lines) provide brake performance worthy of its power.
