At its core is a specially tuned 449cc single-cylinder engine featuring Ducati's signature Desmodromic valve system. Optimized specifically for enduro riding, the engine incorporates revised valve timing, piston design, flywheel, and a six-speed gearbox to provide stronger low-end torque, smoother throttle response, and exceptional traction across loose, uneven surfaces. The Desmo450 EDS features Showa suspension developed exclusively for enduro use, delivering excellent impact absorption and precise control over rocks, roots, and rough terrain.
