Description
The 2026 KTM 300 SX is engineered for riders who demand unmatched performance and precision. This two-stroke powerhouse is built to dominate the motocross track, combining cutting-edge technology with KTM's renowned READY TO RACE philosophy.
At the heart of the 300 SX lies a 293.2 cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine, featuring Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) with a 39 mm Keihin throttle body. This advanced system ensures optimal fuel delivery across various conditions, providing smoother power delivery and better traction. Paired with a 5-speed gearbox and a wet, DDS multi-disc clutch operated by Brembo hydraulics, the engine offers seamless power transitions and exceptional control.
The chassis of the 2026 300 SX has been refined with insights from KTM's Factory Racing teams. The central double-cradle 25CrMo4 steel frame now features streamlined areas around the rear shock mount, with updated engine mounts and cut-outs to improve chassis flex. This design enhances rider feedback and cornering precision, ensuring confidence in every berm and jump.
Suspension duties are handled by WP XACT components: a 48 mm AER USD air fork with 310 mm of travel and a WP XACT monoshock with linkage offering 300 mm of travel. Both front and rear suspensions are fully adjustable for compression and rebound damping, allowing riders to fine-tune their setup for optimal performance on various terrains.
Weighing in at approximately 99.4 kg dry and with a seat height of 958 mm, the 300 SX offers a balanced and agile ride. Its 7.2 litre fuel tank ensures extended riding sessions without compromising on weight.
For 2026, KTM introduces the optional Connectivity Unit Offroad (CUO), which, when paired with the KTMconnect app, allows riders to access customizable engine maps, adjust settings, and monitor performance metrics directly from their smartphones.
