The 2026 KTM 300 EXC Hardenduro is a purpose-built off-road machine engineered to tackle the most extreme terrain with confidence and capability. Based on KTM’s legendary 300 EXC platform, this Hardenduro edition adds a host of enhancements and race-ready components straight from the factory to dominate technical trails, rocky climbs, and unforgiving terrain that define hard enduro riding. Every detail of the 300 EXC Hardenduro reflects decades of competition experience and KTM’s READY TO RACE ethos, making it a top choice for riders who crave performance and toughness beyond standard enduro bikes.
At its core, the bike is powered by a high-performance 293 cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder two-stroke engine paired with a smooth 6-speed transmission and advanced Keihin EFI system. This powerful engine delivers strong low-end torque and crisp throttle response, giving riders the explosive acceleration and tractable power needed to climb steep sections and blast through technical trail features. A wet DDS multi-disc clutch with Brembo hydraulics ensures consistent clutch feel and reliable performance under the harshest conditions.
The chassis combines a central double-cradle 25CrMo4 steel frame with an aluminum-reinforced polyamide subframe, offering the ideal balance of rigidity and rider feedback for both stability and nimble handling. Premium WP XACT 48 mm inverted front forks with updated damping and preload adjusters, alongside a WP XPLOR PDS rear shock, provide excellent suspension travel, damping control, and adjustability to absorb rocks, roots, and brutal trail obstacles with confidence.
