Description
The 2026 KTM 250 SX-F is engineered for one mission: to conquer the 250-cc four-stroke class with style, precision, and raw ability. Designed for riders who demand a machine that’s light, agile, and packed with performance from the moment you swing a leg over the saddle, this bike delivers. Whether you’re a rising star or a seasoned gate-dropper, the 250 SX-F gives you everything you need to go to war on the track.
Under its orange skin lies a potent liquid-cooled 249.9 cc single-cylinder four-stroke engine, featuring Keihin EFI with a 44 mm throttle body. Paired with the 5-speed gearbox and Brembo hydraulic wet multidisc clutch, power delivery is clean, responsive, and fully controllable — whether mashing the throttle out of corners or laying down top-end speed.
KTM’s chassis and suspension setup elevate the ride. A central double-cradle 25CrMo4 steel frame delivers strength and the right amount of flex, while the aluminum-reinforced polyamide subframe keeps things light. Up front, a 48 mm WP XACT AER USD fork offers 310 mm of travel; at the rear, a WP XACT monoshock with linkage gives 300 mm travel. Both ends are adjustable for compression and rebound — high and low speed where applicable — so you can fine-tune handling to suit your track, terrain, and riding style.
The ergonomics are oriented for control: 958 mm seat height gives aggressive ground clearance without sacrificing manageability. With 343 mm of clearance and a weight (without fuel) of approximately 101 kg, the 250 SX-F stays nimble, jumpable, and confident through technical sections. Tank capacity clocks in at ~ 7.2 litres — enough for extended track sessions without dragging unnecessary weight.
Features like launch control and quick-shifter functionality (available in selected markets) sharpen the competitive edge, letting you nail gate drops and shift swiftly without sacrificing momentum. Combined with KTM’s READY-TO-RACE ethos, the 2026 250 SX-F isn’t just built to compete — it’s built to win.
