At its core is Ducati’s new 890cc V2 engine, producing around 110 horsepower and 92 Nm of torque. This lightweight twin-cylinder engine delivers strong low-end torque, making it ideal for technical off-road riding while maintaining smooth and responsive power on highways. With up to 70% of torque available at low RPM, riders can confidently handle obstacles and varying terrain conditions with ease. 

The 2026 DesertX features a redesigned monocoque chassis that uses the engine as a structural element, improving balance, rigidity, and overall handling. Its updated ergonomics—including a narrower tank, repositioned seat, and wide handlebars—offer enhanced control and comfort during long rides and demanding off-road sections. 

Built for adventure, the DesertX comes equipped with 21-inch front and 18-inch rear spoked wheels, paired with high-performance tires for superior grip across all surfaces. Advanced suspension with long travel ensures stability and comfort, even on rough terrain. 

Technology is at the forefront, with a 6-axis IMU, six riding modes (including Enduro and Rally), and fully adjustable electronic controls tailored to different riding styles and environments. A 5-inch TFT display provides clear, customizable information, keeping you focused on the ride ahead.
