The Yamaha YZ85 is engineered for young racers who demand real performance. Beneath its compact frame lies an 85 cc liquid‑cooled two‑stroke engine equipped with Yamaha’s Power Valve System (YPVS™) to deliver broad low‑ and mid‑range torque without sacrificing high‑rpm power.

Its chassis punches well above its class: a lightweight aluminium‑frame sub‑structure plus an aluminium swingarm give structural rigidity with minimal weight. The YZ85 also features a fully adjustable 36 mm KYB® inverted front fork and a race‑proven KYB® rear shock — both built for serious track use.
