Description
The Yamaha YZ250 is the embodiment of two-stroke purity: a 249 cc liquid-cooled, reed-valve-inducted, two-stroke single-cylinder engine that delivers a wide, hard-hitting powerband from bottom to top. Its lightweight and compact design makes it explosive out of the gate and unrelenting through whoops, berms and open straights.
This machine is built for competition: an aluminium frame engineered for sharp handling and agility, a KYB Speed-Sensitive System (SSS) front fork with approx. 11.8″ (300 mm) travel and matching KYB rear shock with around 12.4″ (315 mm) travel. The slim bodywork, race-ready ergonomics and responsive suspension combine to give riders the freedom to move, shift weight and exploit every terrain edge.
Braking and wheels are pure motocross spec: 270 mm front disc, 240 mm rear disc, 21-inch front wheel and 19-inch rear for optimal control and traction. Whether you’re ripping laps, training or chasing that holeshot, the YZ250 brings lightweight feel, razor handling and two-stroke aggression to the track.
For riders who deliver throttle input with intent, want minimal weight, and crave the authentic two-stroke experience, the YZ250 remains one of the few modern machines that deliver pure, no-compromise motocross fun in its most visceral form.
