Features:

• Ventilation system: 10 inlet ports and seven exhaust ports promote high airflow and efficient heat exchange to help riders stay cooler in demanding MX and enduro conditions.
• Visor release system: patented release action is engineered to let the visor detach at a preset force, helping reduce neck loading in an impact.
• Low-friction EPS technology: the coated inner EPS layer helps reduce rotational acceleration forces from certain oblique impacts for more advanced helmet performance.
• Lightweight shell design: thermo-injected shell with a special polymer blend and varying thicknesses balances protection and reduced mass for less fatigue over long sessions.

Protection:

• The inner and outer surfaces are engineered to minimize the effects of oblique impacts.
• Five EPS inner parts with four densities effectively manage impact performance across the helmet.
• The fit can be tailored to the rider’s head thanks to the helmet’s crown and cheek pads, which are available as genuine spare parts in different thicknesses.
• Conforms to both DOT certification and ECE 2206 homologation.

Construction:

• Thermo-injected shell with a special polymer blend and varying material thicknesses; the chin area is structurally optimized to meet Alpinestars’ in-house test standard, with medium weight at 1430 g (ECE) and 1460 g (DOT).
• Inner and outer surfaces are engineered as part of the helmet structure to support oblique-impact management.
• Emergency Release System with removable cheek pads and 3D contoured foam insert construction.
• 25 mm soft textile chin strap construction.
• Stainless steel D-rings retention hardware.
• DOT certified and ECE 2206 homologated for worldwide use.
